On 7-17-10 NCCC dispatched a 22.02 box for a Working Kitchen Fire in the village of Den-Mar Gardens. E22 & T22 were just coming home from a parade and went responding and arrived in seconds of the dispatch. C22A on E22 advised nothing showing as C22 on T22 took command. Thanks to a friend with a fire extinguisher the fire was held to the kitchen area of the home. Sta22 did over haul for 30mins to make sure there were no more hot spots. the home owner was taken to Shamokin Area Hospitals for burns to his feet. Cause of the fire was unattended cooking. Units from Atlas, Strong, MCFD T2, R5, Sta 93 EMS also responded. units went in service 30mins later.



A.F.A
On 7-12-10 Sta 22 & Sta20 were dispatched for a A.F.A at The Mt.Carmel Nursing Home. Units arrived to find a transformer fire and the home without power. Units worked for 1hr 30 mins till the box was placed in service.
Brush Fire
On 7-11-10 Sta 22 were dispatched to Coaltownship for a Brush Fire as B22 was responding w/9 Command placed B22 is service.
A.F.A
On 7-11-10 @ 0100 NCCC dispatched Sta22 & Sta20 to the Mt.Carmel Nursing Home for an Automatic Fire Alarm. C22A arrived and assumed command. E22 Responded w/9 and was placed at the front of the home E20 responded w/7 and was placed to the rear of the home. after a short investigation nothing was found and the box was placed back in service.
Sta22 helps the Football Team
@ 1100hrs Sta22 went out on a call for help from the Mt.Carmel Red Tornadoes. With the dry hot days the football teams fields were turning into dust bowl's. E22 responded to the practice field at the high school wetting down the field for other 2hrs. After lunch B22 responded to the practice field behind the Silver Bowl field. Crews worked for 2hrs on that field till it was good and watered. Hopefully this cut's down on the chance of a grass fire there and helps the Team bring home another State Championship.
Another Brush Fire
@ 1830hrs Sta22 was dispatched to Locust Gap Mt.Carmel Township for a Brush fire. B22,T22 responded w/10. Joined by S25,E25 (Strong) and E23 Locustgap Firefighters fought a fire that had burned into a pile of mulch. After foam and alot of digging the fire was extinguished and units went in service 2hrs later.
Yet another Brush fire.
7-7-10 Sta22 was dispatched to the 3rd ward of Coaltownship for a large brush fire. B22 responded w/10. along with units from Strong, Coaltownship, Shamokin, Wilberton, Treverton, East Cameron, Elysburg and Forestry the units work in 100 degree weather for 3 1/2 hrs till the 7 acer fire was brought under control.
Another Brush Fire
7-5-10 Sta22 was dispatched to Coaltownship for another brush fire. B22 & T22 responded w/8. B22 split into 3 crews taken the south fire line while a crew worked the north line with a hand line and a 3rd crew worked the road suppling water to other crews. T22 filled other brush units and off road tankers. units worked for 3hrs.

Special Request
7-4-10 around 2230 Sta22 was dispatched to Shamokin for Fireworks stand-by. While down there B22 w/9 members responded to multiple small fire's. B22 was released 2hrs later.
Brush Fire
7-3-10 around 1500 Sta22 was dispatched to Coaltownship for a Brush Fire in the westend. B22 responded w/8 and was sent directly into the fire area. Sta22 split into 3 crews. 1 crew worked the east line and 1 crew worked the west line while a 3rd crew ran water shuttle's. units worked for 6hrs till the box was placed in service. Fire units from Sunbury, Treverton, East Cameron, Strong, Stonnington, Wilberton, Elysburg, & Ralpho Township units.



Brush Fire
7-03-10 Sta22 was dispatched to Locust Gap Highway for a reported brush fire. E22, B22 responded w/8 units worked for 30 mins before going back in service.
New Gear is handed out
6-30-10 Thanks to a Fema Grant Sta22 recieved 25 sets of brand new Structure and wildland gear. Some of the gear being replaced was more than 15 years old and showing its age. Thanks again to Fema for everything you do.
